General Manager (Retail Food Operations) Job in Kenya

Our client, a major player food in the industry provides quality, variety and excellent customer service. 

They are seeking for a vibrant and motivated individual to fill in the following position.
 

General Manager (Retail Food Operations)
 

The General Manager will be responsible for overall coordination of all branches activities for smooth work flow while ensuring profitability, efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, quality and security of all resources within the premises.
 

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for the entire operation of the franchise group
• Wholesale sales of imported product to retailers, restaurants, canteens and catering companies
• Recruitment and approval of new franchisees
• Approval of new sites for restaurants with landlord negotiations
• Design of new stores and compiling of detailed plans for various contractors
• Project Management of new sites
• Monitoring and support for the franchised store within the group
• Development of operational structure for the group
• Financial control and presentation of financial to the board
• Maintenance of standards in all stores throughout the group

Key Qualifications and Knowledge

• A Bachelors degree in a related field
• 5 years experience in restaurant operations
• Restaurant management experience is an absolute requirement
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Skilled in creating analysing and understanding reports/budgets
