Our client, a leading trade association in the financial services sector in Kenya wishes to recruit suitable persons to fill the following position:
 

Research Officer

Overall Purpose: Responsible for collecting, collating data from the field, analysing data and reporting research findings.
 

Job Profile:

• Preparing and conducting pre testing data collection tools.
• Collecting, collating and processing research data.
• Disseminating research findings through publications and presentations.
• Reviewing collected data for accuracy, analysing and preparing research reports.
• Assist and participate in the designing, developing, implementation and evaluation of training programmes aimed at building the capacity of members and stakeholders about their obligations to meet prescribed requirements of the association.

Person Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in statistical software such as SPPS and STATA.
• At least three (3) years relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, write complex reports.
• Analytical skills.
