Logistics Assistant

Grade GL5, Nairobi

Qualifications
 

Education: High School certificate.
 

Desirable: Operation of the UMOJA system
 

Experience: Minimum five (5) years experience in Administration and Logistics related field.
 

Description:  

• Initiate, process, monitor, review and follow up on actions related to the administration of the Unit’s logistic activities; 
• update website, manage & develop internal databases;
• provide general office support services such as operational travel plan for section, attendance and leave recording, & raising special flight requests ; 
• raise shopping carts in UMOJA system and follow up with stakeholders for payments to vendors;
• Request and follow up on importation licenses from Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Nurse

Grade - National Officer, NO-A, Nairobi

Qualifications
 

Education: 

• University degree (BSc or equivalent) in Nursing or related field.
• Certification in Pre-hospital trauma life support and certificate in BLS and ACLS is an advantage

Experience: 

• A minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible administrative experience in Nursing. 
• Good administrative skills with medical background are essential.

Language: Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
 

Description: 

• Provide adequate medical information of local health facilities and locally available medical specialists; 
• Maintain MDEVAC/CASEVAC data and admissions in contracted hospitals; 
• Monitor account and payment to vendors and contractors for services rendered to Medical section; 
• Process medical invoices for payment; prepare statistical tables and standard financial reports; 
• Manage medical contracts with hospitals and other service providers.
