Main Purpose of the Job
The main objective of the job is to ensure availability of finished goods, in addition to securing export requirements.
In the area of Supply planning, the incumbent
ensure that the Sourcing Units (SUs) are producing products, promotions
and innovations according to the market requirements and ensures that
all FGs are available to meet monthly S&OP.
In the area of innovation management, the incumbent
handles all projects related to new launches and re launches pertaining
to the site innovations, which, main role is to ensure that new
innovations hits the market as per the agreed time.
Key Responsibilities
FGs Planning:
- Run of the MRP(material requirement planning) of Finished goods in the assigned country
- Maintain lines of communications with SUs on their performance
- Implement the supply management strategy on SUs (new SUs, delisting of SUs)
- Optimize the forecast and order process between the country and the SUs
- Maintain Master Data integrity in the system- Maintaining of MRP Parameters continuously
- Responsible for FG Stocks modelling
- Orders Generation and follow up on SU performance
- Liaison for Planning & QA as related to FGs
- Ensuring that all FGs storage points are well reconciled for MRP run
- Manage Working capital targets of site to agreed management levels
- Run up/ run down of all FGs in times of innovations/promotions to ensure limited business waste and on time availability of new material
- Contributes to costed contingency plans with the help of Finance
- Communicates the FGs Requirement Plan and consequences to the business
- Checks and validates FGs plans with SUs.
- PO Creation
- Implement Inventory planning model for all FGs and ensure compliance to norms.
General Reporting:-
- Weekly Critical Material report
- Stock level vs. norm and actions to get back to norm if there is a discrepancy.
- Monthly Innovation update report
- Monthly Innovation risk report
- Monthly Working capital forecast
Key Skills and Qualifications
- University degree, Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage
- 4-5 years experience in FMCG Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics)
- Experience on SAP ERP, APO
- Experience in managing 3PLs
- Commercial acumen
- Cross functional business process knowledge
- People management
