General Manager - Hospitality
Our client, a well established Tour / Safaris Company is seeking to employ an energetic General Manager.
The successful candidate will manage, promote and streamline their upmarket properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the company: finances, sales & marketing, operations & logistics, field teams, tours and legal and compliance.
- Develop and manage an initial one year plan that will ensure that the business is stable and able to grow.
- Develop annual plans to be agreed by the board of directors.
Qualification:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years tangible relevant experience preferably in the hospitality environment within Africa.
- Must have proven administration skills and management skills.
- Must have proven experience in setting successful business strategies.
- Must have good working knowledge of quality management systems.
- Must have proven experience of commercial and e-Marketing systems.
- Must be fully competent with all current social media outlets.
Skills:
- A creative and imaginative personality.
- Ability to lead and generate the best from workmates.
- High level of common sense and ability to prioritise under pressure.
- A self-starter with a passion to continuously improve on the ‘status quo’.
- A good sense of humor.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.300,000 – 340,000/= (Approx. 3,500 - 4,000 USD)depending on experience
