Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in 10 counties of Kenya.
Its principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities.
We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following positions.
Receptionist
Job Summary: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities, front office management and related tasks.
Duty Station: Kisumu and Eldoret
Engagement Period: 6 months
Responsibilities and duties
- Welcoming clients in a friendly manner and responding to their needs.
- Receiving calls and visitors to the office.
- Ensuring that office inventory is maintained.
- Scheduling return appointments, required, for clients after they have been seen or examined.
- Ensuring that counseling, examination and procedure rooms are ready for use each day as well as after each visit.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate in Secretarial studies.
- Proficiency in computer application software.
- 2 years experience in a clinical set-up with a heavy client flow.
- For Kisumu office – Must have experience working with key populations (MARPS) in any capacity or he/she must have been a Kps.
- Must be pleasant and have good communication skills.
