Our client, a well-established Manufacturing company in Nairobi is looking to fill the position of a Maintenance Manager.
The Job holder will be in charge of the entire plant and machinery maintenance and supervising technical staff.
The successful candidate MUST have excellent knowledge of Hindi and/or Gujarati Languages.
Key Responsibilities:

- Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods, project planning and execution.
- Budgeting for the department.
- Operation and maintenance of various equipments.
- Managing maintenance department personnel & training.
- Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.
- Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with the company occupation health and safety policy.
- Sourcing of spares from different suppliers / distributors.
- Must have a minimum of a Higher National Diploma or equivalent in an Engineering discipline from a reputable institution of higher learning.
- At least 2 years in a managerial skills and 3 years in technical skills.
- Having worked in a plastic manufacturing factory will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on digital circuits, PLC based systems.
- Able to perform standard repairs on printed circuit boards.
- Able to interpret and understand technical drawings and diagrams for fault finding.
- Must be able to handle a broad range of complex technical and professional work activities.
