Position Title: Underwriting Executive
Department: Underwriting
Reports To: Head of Underwriting through the Assistant Underwriting Manager
Hours of Work: The job is done within normal working hours.
Position Summary & Primary Objective: The Underwriting Executive overall purpose is to ensure membership cards are processed in an efficient and effective manner, to facilitate and meet the period set for processing in the department with an aim of client satisfaction.
The jobholder is expected to demonstrate commitment and loyalty and perform all duties in accordance with the organization’s office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Essential
- A Diploma in Business field.
- At least 1 year relevant work experience.
Desirable
- A Business degree will be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office packages
- Attention to detail and high accuracy levels
- Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
