Soap Making Trainer

The incumbent will report directly to the Livelihood Officer, while working closely on a daily basis with other sectors of LWF. 

The purpose of this position is to equip refugees in Ali Addeh camp with soap making skills that enable them improve their levels of income.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment of soap making in Ali Addeh refugee camp and compile a report on the same.
  • Advise on the learning materials required for the training and subsequent continuation of the project- facilitating the procurement of soap making materials.
  • Plan and deliver Soap Making course outline/programme (liquid or solid) to selected groups in the refugee camps.
  • Develop session plans
  • Supervise the Soap Making practical on a day to day basis to ensure that the agreed upon standards are met
  • Supervise the production of the agreed upon quantity and quality of the soap as a pilot project
  • Participate and work cooperatively within a team environment.
  • Maintain learner attendance and records of progress towards skills development
