Roles and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Masters degree in Business Management or related field and University degree or equivalent operational/technical qualifications;
  • 10 years of relevant experience in a related field and at least 6 years in a management position in operations, security and or safety within the aviation industry is absolutely essential;
  • Advanced knowledge of ICAO standards in relation to airport operations, security and infrastructure;
  • Highly independent and driven with the ability to build and maintain relationships; and
  • Fluency in English with knowledge of Swahili.

FSDA wishes to identify consultants and/or a consulting firm who could manage a consultative process on impact evaluation involving the FSDs in Africa and the UK’s Department for International Development (“DFID”).
 
The consultative process should result inter alia in (1) consensus among the FSDs, DFID and other stakeholders as to how best to evaluate the impact of FSD - type interventions, (2) the design of tools and systems to allow FSDs to measure impact more effectively and (3) a concrete evaluation plan for the network.
