CAP Youth Empowerment Institute in Kenya is seeking to engage the services of a facilitator for Youth Learning and Saving Program.  CAP worldover is known for working with the under privileged youth and linking them to livelihoods. 

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute is at the preparatory stages of implementing this project in Kenya and will soon be enrolling vulnerable youth into this program. 

To effectively train and orient the youth to the world of work, CAP Youth Empowerment Institute is looking for facilitators, who are less than 30 years old, who are passionate about youth and keen to pass on work based skills, train them on life skills and prepare them in a wholesome way to get into the world of work.

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute first selects the vulnerable youth, trains them and through partnering with industrial players places them for employments.  In Kenya CAP Youth Empowerment Institute has prioritized the following sector.
 
Electrical and Electronics

CAP Youth Empowerment Institute is thus looking for facilitators who will prepare the youth to work in these sectors.

Requirements:

Electrical and Electronics
  • At least 2 year experience working in Electrical and Electronics industry.
  • Masters / bachelors degree in Electronics/Electrical. Should handle electrical or vice versa.
  • Skill to interact with companies and bring in the industry contribution.
  • Ability to work with the communities and young people.
Job Description
  • Working closely with the community leaders, chiefs and assistant chiefs to mobilize young people.
  • Is to train the young people in Elecrical and Electronics sector for 100 Days.
  • Should arrange for the field visits for the trainees, exposure visits for the trainees and bring in the guest lectures.
  • Should bring internship opportunities to all the trainees being trained.
  • Should link all the trainees being trained to the job / employment opportunities.
The successful candidates must be willing to work in the communities and as well have a strong intent and passion to help the young people and prepare them to become effective citizens.

- At least 2 year experience working in a reputed hotels or house keeping companies.
 
- Masters / bachelors degree in hospitality sector
 
- Skill to interact with companies and bring in the industry contribution.
 
- Ability to find internship and job placements to the trainees

Debit Order Officer

  A micro finance company urgently seeks to fill the above vacant position.

Main Purpose of Role   
 
Timely collection of correct due instalments from clients by means of debit order activations on various bank accounts.

Required Minimum Education / Training
  • BCom degree or related degree, Strong Operations  background essential (National basis) minimum 5 years
Required Minimum Work Experience
   
Min 2 years banking or financial industry experience, Experience in Credit Management desirable

1. Collections of payments, activations and re-activations

Input (method used)
  • Activate debit orders against client’s bank accounts to ensure that the correct payment amount is collected on the correct payment date.
  • Draw reports to determine outstanding instalments of clients and ensure that amounts due are collected by means of debit order activations.
  • Reverse wrongfully debited payments against client\s account by reversing and refunding client.  
  • Make a note on the system on why refund was authorised.
  • Pay out approved client loan amount or settlement amount from bank accounts.
  • Analyse reasons for repeated failure to collect via debit order, pursue alternate collections method to normalise account
  • Reconciliation of debits orders loaded with successful payments received
  • Identify reversal of successful payments and update system
