Instructor (Registrar)
 
The Instructor (Registrar) will be responsible for the effective management and care of patients. S/he will teach, supervise and provide leadership to junior doctors in the Accident and Emergency Unit. 

S/he will provide emergency support to ensure timely and optimal delivery of quality patient care.
 
Applicants should possess a Masters of Medicine Degree or equivalent and should be registered or eligible for registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ and Dentists Board. Previous experience in emergency medicine practice, ACLS and ATLS certification will be an added advantage. 

Senior House Officer
 
The Senior House Officer will provide clinical care to patients S/he will also be expected to work with a team of medical staff to ensure optimal delivery of quality patient care. 

Duty areas include Accident & Emergency, Surgery, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical Centers in different locations.
 
Applicants should possess a Bachelors of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) or equivalent. Candidates must have completed internship in Kenya and should be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ and Dentists Board. 

Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and EPLS/PALS will be an added advantage.
 
Radiation Therapy Technologist
 
The Radiation Therapy Technologist will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and efficient simulation and delivery of prescribed radiation treatment while maintaining quality patient care and records, and ensuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment and accessories.
 
Applicants must possess a Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy or a Diploma in Radiography with a certificate in Radiation Therapy with at least one (1) year’s working experience in a modern and busy Radiotherapy Department. Experience working with linear accelerators and CT simulation is essential.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
 
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist will be responsible for the provision of effective MRI services.
 
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent and two (2) years full time working experience on at least a 1.5 Tesla MRI Unit. S/he should have a certificate or post graduate training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Medical Laboratory Technologist
 
The Medical laboratory Technologist will primarily be responsible for provision of effective, efficient, quality laboratory services.
 
Applicants for the position must have a Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution. 

S/he must have five (5) years relevant working experience as a Senior Technologist after their Higher Diploma and must be registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technician Board.

Physiotherapist
 
The Physiotherapist will provide quality physiotherapy services and assist in improving quality patient care.
 
Applicants for the above position must have a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and/or a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. 

S/he should have two (2) years related experience and excellent
knowledge of treatment techniques, ability to operate and apply electro medical/rehab equipment.
 
Radiographer
 
The Radiographer will be responsible for the provision of high quality imaging services.
 
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences and some working experience in a busy established Radiology Department.
 
Ultrasonographer
 
The Ultra sonographer will be responsible for the provision of high quality ultrasound imaging services.
 
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences. They should have a Certificate in Sonography and at least one (1) year working experience.
 
Electrical Engineer
 
The Electrical Engineer will design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on safety, reliability, quality, economy and sustainability.
 
Applicants should have a Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power and or Electronics Option) with at least five years’ experience in a similar position.

Knowledge of technical functioning and maintenance of HV/LV distribution, switchgear and controls, diesel generators, and other HVAC equipment will be an added advantage.

Mechanical Engineer
 
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible in guiding and overseeing contract/annual maintenance of day to day operations and maintenance of plant and equipment in order to enhance maintenance skills.
 
Applicants for the position should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably Majors in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) with at least five years’ experience in a similar position.

HVAC Engineer
 
The HVAC Engineer will carry out activities relating to HVAC equipment management involving maintenance, technical inspection, acceptance testing/handover and third party service supervision.

S/he will advise on spares requirement, pre-purchase technical appraisal and annual equipment replacement plan.
 
Applicants should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least five years’ experience in a similar position. 

S/he should have technical knowledge on HVAC, centralised air conditioning and refrigeration functioning and maintenance (mechanical, electrical/electronic experience will be an added advantage).
 
Applicants for the above three Engineer positions should be computer literate with excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills. 

S/he must be registered and/or eligible for registration with the Engineering Board of Kenya.
 
Instrumentation and Control Technician
 
The Instrumentation and Control Technician will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of BMS and power electronics devices to minimize plant down time and improve uptime to optimize performance and
plant reliability.
 
Applicants should have Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics, Control System or Mechatronics) with a professional certificate in BMS and PLC Systems and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience. 

A Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.

Manager, Food and Beverage
 
The Manager, Food & Beverage will be responsible for all catering services including food and beverage outlets and storage and provision areas. 

S/he will manage the Staff Cafeteria, the food Stores and waste disposal systems in the Hospital.
 
Applicants should have a Degree in Hotel Management or related training and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a busy healthcare facility /hospitality industry. 

Certification in a Business related course will be an added advantage. 

S/he should have strong leadership and financial management skills. 

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation with training in HACCP Management System and the ISO 22000 Quality Management System would be an added advantage.
 
Head Chef
 
The Head Chef will be responsible for efficient and effective management of the kitchen. 

S/he will be responsible for food production, preparation of menus, receipts and cost cards. 

S/he will monitor expenditure, ensure adequate supply of stocks and facilitate training and orientation of staff. 

Applicants should have a Diploma/Certificate in Food Production with a minimum of four (4) years in a similar position. 

S/he should have a good understanding of HACCP Hygiene Management System and ISO 22000 Quality Management System.

Engagement Manager

The Engagement Manager interacts with agricultural and nutrition innovation stakeholders to develop a pipeline of innovation prospects that match the Innovation Engine’s selection criteria, and is responsible for appraising applicants for funding support from the Innovation Engine and determining the nature of short-term technical assistance required for each selected innovation.

The Engagement Manager will also work with the Innovation Engine’s implementation partners and identified technical assistance providers to ensure appropriate competencies and methodologies as well as the suitability of associated budgets and delivery timelines.

Requirements:

Responsibilities / Key Objectives
  • Carry out preliminary survey for proposed works and prepare scope of work, bills of quantities, programme, estimates and technical specifications.

  • Hand over site to the Contractor and ensure Contractor commences work as per agreed timelines.
  • Plan utilisation of Contractor resources between projects to optimise company schedules.
