  • Counter checks the FAN tickets against order to confirm the shipper and volume to be loaded.
  • Liaises with driver to confirm the volume and product for compartment as indicated in the FAN ticket is correct and inserts the loading arms in the correct compartments.
  • Liaises with Lading Supervisor on the right truck to be brought to the island as per availability of loading arm.
  • Ensures the volume of the product on the ticket has been loaded in truck.
  • Ensures that load truck leave the island safely.
  • Reports any defect on the island to the Loading supervisor.
  • Hands over properly to counterparts while leaving the island.

About Kenya Bankers Association (KBA): Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) is the umbrella body of the banking sub-sector with a membership of 45 banks that are licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). 

Registered as an industry association in 1962 by the Registrar of Trade Unions, over time the core function of the Association has evolved from focusing on labour matters to include promoting industry development and economic growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partners with Director, Technical Services in managing the Automated Clearing House services on a day-to-day mode.
  • Partners with the Director, Technical Services to ensure up to date information on the technical matters affecting the banking industry.
  • Plans, organizes, develops, implements and interprets project goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality advisory service to KBA members.
