We’re based in Embu and offer transcription services to local and overseas clients. 

We specialize in professional digital transcription services. 

A bulk of our work is in presentations, interviews and video transcription, but we also provide academic and other transcription services to individuals and companies. 

We pride ourselves for being prompt, efficient and accurate in any transcription work we undertake.

Job Description

We are seeking five (5) additional transcribers for our transcription team. These are permanent positions based in Embu. 

The job entails transcribing  interviews, presentations, meetings and discussions. 

If you have at least six-months experience in the general transcription industry, this could be the position for you!

Requirements
  • At least six months transcription experience.
  • Typing speed minimum 30 wpm.
  • Familiarity with different foreign English accents.

1. Technical Operators 

(Based in Thika)
 
Salary 20k – 30k

Job Objective/Summary
 
Improve and maintain all productions processes and equipments to the company’s standards.
 
Description of Duties
  • Carrying out daily/weekly/monthly care and maintenance of the machines
  • Machine preparation as per laid specifications prior to production
  • Quickly detect any defects/malfunction on m/c and report accordingly
  • Handling machine breakdowns during production
  • Ensuring other related processing lines are operating on required parameters
  • Participate in general maintenance and make productive utilization of available machineries and electric equipment
  • Taking care and accounting for various tools at my disposal making optimum use of various inputs and materials
  • Maintain up to date daily production record
  • To change the R.O filters on time
  • Checking of the working pressure
  • Changing of moulds for bottles blower
  • Changing of gaskets for the machines
  • Operation of the of machines e.g. reverse osmosis/TBA/boiler
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/ Technician II in mechanical and electrical engineering

Production Supervisor 

Salary 35k - 45k

Job Objective / Summary
 
Responsible for the production operations in the factory including production plan implementation, resource utilization and management of performance and output

Description of Duties
  • Supervision of the production process and Quality Assurance Systems
  • Requisition of production materials
  • Preparation and assignment of duties to staff in the production floor
  • Ensure that good manufacturing and hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Participate in product development activities
  • Ensure that the Health and Safety of the workforce is enforced at all times
  • Preparation of the daily production reports
  • Carrying out online analysis of water and juice hourly
  • On line quality control checks
  • Ensuring production floor and machines are clean
  • Products that have been packaged are neatly arranged and adequate
  • Communication with relevant person from the store
  • Filing material transfer notes
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him by the Management from time to time.
Job Specifications
  • University degree: B. Sc in Food Science and Technology
  • 2 years progressive working experience (Degree Holders) in FMCG firm experience with Juice producing firm an added advantage, in a supervisory position
  • Or Higher Diploma in Food Science and Technology with 4years progressive work experience in FMCG firm experience with Juice producing firm an added advantage, in a supervisory position
  • Computer literate-working knowledge of MS-Office
  • ISO and Kaizen exposure will be an added advantage
