Communications Administrator for a Legal Company based in Westlands

Key responsibilities:
  • Organise the firm’s annual event for clients.
  • Organise special events on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
  • Oversee planning and execution of panel participation by lawyers and other ad hoc marketing efforts.
  • Internet and marketing research.
  • Manage the entire client database and ensure that client information is updated on a regular basis
  • Identify, coordinate, review, edit and design responses to Requests for Proposals/ Bids for Tender
  • Update the company website on a regular basis
  • Update and maintain all biographies of professional staff within the firm and keep all company brochure material updated
  • Develop and maintain the firm’s credentials for use for bids and submissions for international legal directories.
  • Act as liaison person for marketing issues for the regional network.
  • Develop and integrate marketing initiatives across services e.g. logo, templates for request for proposal, power point.
  • Circulate client alerts, greeting cards, newsletters to clients.
  • Co-ordinate continuous legal education (CLE) programs and other training for lawyers and staff.
  • Proof read all stationary and company literature
Attributes
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to deal with deadline and pressure professional.
Key qualifications:
  • Degree in English, Marketing or a similar degree
  • Excellent Microsoft office application; Word, Access, excel
  • At least 5 years experience in the same field.
Salary: Basic 150,000-200,000k per month depending on experience, plus medical benefits

Position Required: Business Development Manager

Location: Nairobi

Job Purpose: Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships based on Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-sales activities
  • Assessments of marketing opportunities and target markets for ERP and vertical solutions, Enterprise solutions such as Network Solutions, Storage Solutions, Unified Communications, High-End Solutions, Collaborative software, CRM and any other related solutions.
  • Identify new opportunities for the same
  • Assisting with sales proposals, tender responses, demonstration of our solutions to prospective customers and discussions with them concerning the ways in which the solution can be used to meet their requirements.
  • Intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
  • Generating leads for possible sales through tele-sales and customer contact
  • Attendance at conferences and exhibitions
Marketing
  • Liaising with Marketing on the preparation of promotional material, case studies etc.
  • Presentations at seminars and conferences
  • Presentation and showcasing solutions to User Group (Demos)
  • Associate with major vendors like HP, Microsoft, Sun/Oracle, Cisco, APC and distributors.
Sales Responsibility
  • “The Client” Customers are assigned a specific Account Manager.
  • The role of the Account Manager is to establish and develop a relationship with the Customer organization with the dual objectives of ensuring “The Client” provides the best possible level of service and identifying areas where mutual benefit can be gained by the Customer extending the use of “The Client” products and solutions
The sales role of the BDM is:
  • Liaise with Account Managers in the development of activities on existing customer sites, with the objective of extending the use of “The Client” solutions into further areas.
  • Co-ordinate the sales activities of the Technical/Consultancy team in the allocated region, in order to optimise potential.
  • Follow-up sales activity
  • Provide and update the sales funnel weekly to the management and team.
  • Have regular daily meetings with Account Manager and Regional Business Executives.
  • weekly conference calls with CCO and regular meetings with CTO
  • Co-ordinate with the Technical Team, once a project has been realized, and ensure the timely implementation and to successful deliverance of the project.
  • Get reference letters from the Customer once a project has been successfully delivered
Main Sales Responsibility

To Achieve the Quarterly Sales Target, hence the Annual Sales Target, for solutions for “The Client” Ltd and its regional offices.

General Requirements
  • Role will cover East Africa
  • Develop a team of Business Executives throughout the region ie in branches and associated offices
  • Be involved in the selection and hiring of Business Execs.
Key Qualifications:
  • Should be a Kenyan citizen aged between 30-40
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related Engineering Field or MBA.
  • have in-depth knowledge in selling ERP for various verticals and some knowledge on Servers & Platforms/UC/Storage Solutions/CRM/Collaboration Software
  • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism/formal proposal/tender writing skills
  • At least two (2) years successful work experience in the similar line of business
  • Two (2)professional references (minimum)
  • Travel throughout East Africa and globally if required
  • Kenyan Driving License
Salary & Benefits: Kshs. 120,000 – 150,000

Re-Request Agent Urgently Needed:

A young, fun and fast growing safari company is looking for someone to carry out the following:
 
  • Organising safaris throughout Eastern Africa for our international travel agents and direct clients – Minimum 5 years experience needed.
  • Taking reservations for a selection of Kenyan lodges and camps on ResRequest – ResRequest experience in required.
This person will be solely in charge of the booking sheet for specific lodges, their job will include:
  • Calling travel agents and tour operators (local and international) to chat about their products?
  • ‘Selling’ bed nights to agents, lodges and individual clients.
  • Taking bookings (via email and phone).
  • Adding all the details to ResRequest (would prefer someone who is familiar with ResRequest)
This person will be solely in charge of organizing safaris .. therefore dealing with international direct clients and international agents:
  • Speaking on the phone with direct clients and agents.
  • They will receive lots of emails asking for safari quotes (the attached are how we do our quotes for agents …. Do they understand this and can they work with excel and excel’s calculations?)
  • Understanding Excel is VERY important for this job.
  • Replying – they need to reply to an enquiry.
