A Non Governmental Nonprofit making organization whose mission is to empower women to realize, exercise their rights and freedoms, and access opportunities and privileges towards gender equality is looking for a Field Coordinator.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of directly related experience in supporting survivors of sexual and gender based violence and other forms of abuse; trauma management and training on psychosocial support

The candidate must be a dynamic, creative, self-motivated, strategic and original thinker with commitment to women’s human rights. She/he will also engage her/his time in project work, which includeS project implementation and coordination , monitoring, evaluation report writing and resource mobilization

The officer will be required to work in Nairobi with frequent engagement with grassroots communities, schools, educating and training on sexual and gender based violence and women human rights and psychosocial support.

Must be willing to work towards influencing community change on women’s human rights

Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree/ Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or any other related field.
  • Minimum two years experience in counselling and other psychosocial support
  • Experience on women’s rights and psychosocial support for ending sexual and gender based.
  • Broad knowledge about gender and development work, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. .
  • Leadership experience, Good Analytical skills, Facilitation/Training skills

Successful candidate must be willing to work towards influencing community change on women’s human rights

  • University degree/ Diploma in social sciences, Social Work, law, political science, human rights or any other related field.
  • Minimum two years experience in community advocacy on the women human rights.
  • Experience gained on work focused on ending sexual and gender based violence.
  • Broad knowledge about gender and development work, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Good knowledge about the situation concerning sexual and gender based violence in Kenya and Naivasha.
  • Minimum two years experience in women human rights research, implementation, program management, resource mobilization monitoring, documentation and reporting.
  • Leadership experience, Good Analytical skills, Facilitation/Training skills
  • Strong interest in the area of women’s rights and a commitment to the empowerment of women.

An established manufacturer of taps, bathroom and kitchen fittings is looking for a Sales Coordinator. This role involves managing the Showroom business including Over the Counter sales in assigned territory in order to support in achieving the company’s mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, activate and maintain an updated database of over the counter sales & Showrooms, to secure revenue growth opportunities in the market
  • Coordinate segmentation & classification of accounts according to the standards across the region; support the accounts in any issues that can help the company be successful in the market
  • Closely monitor the operations of the accounts (sales, stock levels, etc.) on a regular basis; participate in the target setting process for the accounts, and ongoing guide them towards achieving the targets
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with over the counter & Showroom staff, to ensure their awareness and knowledge of products, prices, etc.; identify their training needs; support them to ensure the best quality display at the point of sales .
  • Enhance penetration in over the counter sales & Showrooms by placing the products in visible and premium locations, in line with the company’s objectives and plans
  • Execute the promotional campaigns throughout the market; oversee product launches and sales promotions from the conception phase to implementation; contribute in the sell in/sell out promotion cycle in collaboration with the Marketing department
  • Make a regular SWOT analysis in order to be up to date to the market threats, and defend the company’s leadership position in the market; monitor and report competition activities (promotions, campaigns, new product launching, pricing, etc.); monitor and report any product imitation case and provide the company with the necessary documentation; monitor and report any relevant changes in the legislation
  • Update Company integrated database with accurate and timely information as required.
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Must be a holder of University Degree/ Diploma in Business or Marketing related field.
  • Minimum 5 years similar experience preferably in a multinational environment
  • Excellent sales orientation and networking skills
  • Ability to interpret market and sales data
