Key Duties and Responsibilities

Positively impact cash flow and working capital by ensuring the accurate and timely processing and payments of accounts receivable.

Ensure that all credit control responsibilities and duties are carried out accurately and within set time limits, whilst providing a first class service to all customers.
Managing credit control and debt management activities including supervising a team of credit control operators

Maximizing cash collection across the board.
Cash allocation and reconciliation
Rectification of previously mismanaged accounts
Problem solving and timely decision making
Meeting monthly and yearly targets
Daily management of debts and collections
Full accountability of all allocated accounts

  • B com Degree – Accounting Option
  • CPA 2

  • 3 – 4 years in a hospital environment (MUST)
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • MUST have experience in in–patient services and individual clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Culture Change
  • Play a vital role in driving cultural and behavioral change internally
  • Monitor the relevant KPI’s on culture change
  • Identify potential and anticipated points of culture change resistance
  • Support all internal stakeholders to successfully embed culture change within the business
  • Support cultural transformation through activities such as planning, designing and implementing brand engagement initiatives
  • Timely escalate culture specific challenges for resolution
  • Periodically Audit and report on progress of culture change initiatives
Internal Brand Management 
  • Develop, manage and implement internal communication programmes to engage and align all staff the brand and strategy 
  • Work with the Strategy team to interpret the business strategy into key internal messages
  • Own the corporate internal communication process to ensure effective, timely communication
  • Ensure that all internal communication and culture programmes are in line with the Brand
  • Maturity and ability to engage at all levels of the organization
  • Have an understanding of change and communications management principles and methodologies
  • Exceptional persuasion and communication skills
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others

Qualifications & Experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Approaching customers as they enter the store
  • Inquiring about the type of furniture the clients want and assisting the clients to what products or services they require
  • Understand well the products and services of the company
  • Understand the companies brand and offerings to be able to answer any questions the customer asks
  • Receive information for the sales team and execute their duties as required
  • Selling so as to move multiple products available in the showroom, informing clients of other products available in the organization
  • Process the paperwork and arrange clients’ details in an organized manner

Required Qualifications
  • Degree of Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a similar industry
  • Experience in the Furniture Industry will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in sales
  • Possesses good conceptualization skills and be able to assist the sales team to meet their target
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organising skills including a thorough and methodical approach
  • Must be result oriented and an excellent communicator both orally and in writing
  • Should be a person who is passionate, mature, honest, responsible, enthusiastic to learn, change oriented and people focused
  • Able to work under pressure and with short time lines, schedule and prioritize projects, accept criticism and others’ ideas
  • Be a team player who is a problem solver, enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to multi-task
  • Have good communication skills with regard to written, drawn and verbal and presentation skills.
