Programmers (4)

The position will report to the Product Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full life cycle software development process
  • Designing, coding, debugging applications in various software languages
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review and reliability analysis
  • Software modeling, simulation and testing
  • Project planning & management
  • Support maintain & document software functionality
  • Maintain standards compliance
Qualification & skills:
  • A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge in Financial and Industrial Systems
  • Understanding of the Software Lifecycle, Machine Architecture, Relational Databases, Objected-oriented programming and Flowcharts
  • Understanding of the UML design specifications
  • To possess skills in HTML, DHTML, the .Net Framework, Java, .Net framework, C#, PHP, ASP, C++ Strong Bias should be on C# programming especially for VOIP Applications based on SIP Libraries
  • Hands on experience in Intranets and internet applications development projects
  • Experience in software implementations and handling WIP Projects
  • Knowledge in SQL, Oracle Databases and other databases
  • Knowledge of integrating distributed systems using XML Web technologies (SOAP, REST etc) would be an added advantage
  • At least 1 year experience in a Programming environment
  • Knowledge of French is a Plus
Please Note: The positions are based in Nairobi with occasional international travels. The Positions will be recruited locally. Thus applications from non-Kenyan residents cannot be accepted
