Accountant & Financial Analyst Job in Kenya Enchanting - Africa

Enchanting - Africa focuses on tailor- made travel experiences in Africa and is part of Enchanting - Travels, a global travel company and one of the leading providers of high-quality bespoke travel to Africa, Asia and South America.

We wish to hire an Accountant & Financial Analyst to further strengthen the finance team in our Nairobi office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis – company performance and supplier analyses
• Payments - ensure timely payments to suppliers
• Asset Management – ensure all company assets are adequately maintained and secured
• Annual & Monthly Accounts – monthly closing procedure including bank reconciliation and assist in preparing annual audit

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration with Accounting focus and/or professional qualification in CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years work experience in a busy accounting environment.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong business sense, able to interpret analyses and take action.
• Fast learner with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in computerized accounting systems and strong Excel skills.
