Job Title: HR Officer

Reports to: Human Resource Manager

Salary KShs: 30,000-35,000

Role Objective

To assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that accurate job descriptions are administered and implemented
  • Drive and manage the performance review process.
  • Conduct training needs analysis, and organize staff training sessions, workshops and activities.
  • Formulate, implement and communicate management and HR strategies to all staff members and ensure they are adhered to.
  • Implementing staff training programmes, succession planning and identifying suitable courses to enhance employee’s skills.
  • Coach and advice line managers through all elements of the HR lifecycle; developing skills, knowledge and confidence to encourage them to proactively manage difficult and sensitive people issues.
  • Documentation - reviewing staff handbooks, contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employment, promotion, deployment, staff welfare, health and safety etc.
  • Leave administration and monitor daily attendance.
  • Provide staff orientation to all new incoming staff.
  • Arrange and attend departmental meetings in liaison with the Head of departments.
  • Provide feedback to the management on how to enhance a better and cordial working environment.
  • Maintain employee files and the HR filing system.

Qualifications
  • Minimum a diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognized institution
  • 2-3 years experience in human resource management preferably in an FMCG will be an advantage.
  • Age: preferably between 27yrs and 35yrs.

Role Objective/Summary
 
To consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Enhance market coverage in the corporate –customers segment.
  • Sell and service corporate customers requirements in customer’s full range of products 
  • Manage full process of the sales from cold calling, presenting, negotiating and closing deals 
  • Process and manage paperwork and correspondence related to all accounts. 
  • Ensure orders are invoiced and processed 
  • Providing training to new entrants
  • Responsible for customer relationships and meeting clients’ expectations. 
  • Provide regular two-way communication between the client and company, to provide strong representation and set proper client expectations. 
  • Understand company capabilities, products and services, and effectively communicate all offerings to the client. 
  • Collect all outstanding payments with the allocated accounts.
  • Regularly visit accounts regularly to ensure sustenance of a good relationship.

Position: Retail Sales Executive

Role Objective/Summary
 
Selling company products to customers and introducing new products to prospective buyers. Duties and 

Responsibilities: 
  • Determine the needs of the customer and show them the range of products available. 
  • Introduce new products to prospective buyers. 
  • Inform the branch manager of frequent enquiries for products not available in the shop. 
  • Keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times. 
  • Ensure all items in the shop are clearly and correctly labeled. 
  • Receive deliveries, unpack and re-shelve stocks. 
  • Assist with regular stock checks and periodic stock takes. 
  • Respond to general customer enquiries received by phone or in person. 
  • Ensure any issues concerning customer care are reported to the Retail Manager. 
  • Establish and maintain healthy relationships with current and potential clients.

Position: Personal Assistant 

Reports to: Director
 
Role Objective/ Summary 

To provide an efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the director, helping him to manage and prioritise his time.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Handle all administrative duties for the directors, that is, maintaining cleanliness in their office
  • Coordinate and schedule daily meetings, as well as weekly and monthly appointments
  • Conduct weekly/ daily meetings with the director to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests
  • Act as a vital point of contact for relevant information and inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Ensure guests meeting with the directors are well taken care of by serving them with beverage of their choice before meetings
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them as appropriate
  • Manage and filter e-mails for the director and highlight urgent correspondence
  • Dealing with all correspondence and writing letters, taking dictations and minutes
