The Co-ordinator - Environment & Corporate Affairs will report to the Group Head of Supply Chain.

Requirements

BSc. Degree in Environmental Science/Public Health/Social Sciences.

Proven record of at least 10 years in carrying out environmental impact assessment, environment audits and the handling of workplace social issues.

Relevant experience in toxic waste disposal, noise pollution management and dust abatement.

Experience in developing HIV/AIDS awareness programmes. A trained peer educator will be an added advantage.

A high level of client orientation.

Responsibilities

Acting as the liaison officer with the central and local government authorities.

Training the staff on environmental protection objectives, procedures and measures.

Implementation and monitoring of the Environmental Management Plan.

Monitoring and evaluating of the HIV/AIDS development Programme.
