The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi (AKUH,N), a premier tertiary teaching hospital, is fast growing with a network of over 30 multi-site medical centers in East Africa and a state-of-the-art Heart and Cancer Centre in Nairobi.

The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the following positions:

Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will ensure correct interpretation of prescriptions and physician orders at both in-patient and out-patient levels to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical services to meet customer needs.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and a Practicing License from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya. 

S/he must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya and have a minimum of 3 years hospital experience working in pharmaceutical services.

Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer will actively seek and sustain business development  opportunities and strategically develop mutual relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued growth of volume.

Applicants must have a Degree in Marketing or related field with at least 3 years, experience in Health Care Marketing. S/he should have excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills.

Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist will provide oral health care and education to patients that visit the dental clinic. S/he will also maintain hygiene instruments and manage the dental stock items.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Diploma in community oral health or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant practice including one year internship from a reputable institution.

Applicants for all the above positions should be computer literate with excellent communication and customer service skills.
