KADET Limited is a fast growing financial service company and an investment of the World Vision Kenya.

We wish to recruit a highly competent, proactive and self driven person to fill the position of:
 
Credit Operations Manager
 
This position reports to the Operations Director and has other functional relationships to the SMT. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • New business development
  • Quality portfolio management
  • Credit risk management
  • Coordination of branch recoveries
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Branch Managers in business development in area of new markets and product development as informed by the market KADET operates in.
  • Support Branch Managers in driving business growth and ensuring that optimal caseload and portfolio is maintained in all branches.
  • Support the Branch Managers in maintaining a high level of portfolio quality throughout the branches
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with debt collectors and lawyers in loan recovery process, ensuring KADET’s interest is adequately covered.
  • Build capacity for all KADET branches; work with the Training Manager to design and execute trainings on identified gaps.
  • Continuously conduct business trend analysis with the view to entrenching micro finance best practices in all branches.
  • Ensure compliance to policy in lending.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Be a holder of bachelor’s degree in Business related field.
  • An MBA degree is an added advantage
  • At least 5 years in a senior management position in a bank and or a Micro Finance Institution
  • Knowledge of Micro finance best practices.
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail are a must have.
All candidates must be professing and practicing Christians whose conduct and depth of character are governed by personal Christian convictions. This position involves over 50% travel time.
