Web Designer Job in Kenya

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

As Web Designer / Developer you will work within the web team in developing high profile, leading-edge websites.

As Web Designer / Developer your responsibilities will be:

• To work on high profile digital projects ranging from small support and maintenance jobs to full-scale, complex website builds from the ground up.
• To be involved in all parts of the development lifecycle from planning and specification, through build, testing and deployment.
• Liaising with client-facing account teams to help define the detailed requirements.

As Web Designer / Developer you will have the following Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of developing websites in a commercial environment.
• Experience within a creative/marketing agency would be a bonus.
• Competent in PHP, XML/XSLT, MySQL, Javascript/JQuery, XHTML, CSS.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, Mobilised websites and PostgreSQL would be a bonus.
• You will be pro-active, have the ability to multi-task and have good communication skills.
