Business Development Manager Vacancy in Kenya

Dynamic People Consulting is recruiting a Business Development Manager for one of its clients in the Manufacturing industry.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and maintain export market business as pre-agreed targets and volumes in order to optimize the envisaged market share;
• Recruit and develop local dealers, stockists, merchandisers, Trade and Commission respectives to grown and enhance the export market business;
• Initiate and develop business procedures to ensure smooth operations;
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance in regulatory and statutory requirements;
• Prepare and submit business reports at required intervals;
• Identify opportunities for growth and device innovation systems and tactics to improve the market;
• Monitor, evaluate and implement brand marketing plans.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Graduate in either Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) or Bachelors in Business Administration/BA Economics;
• Should have experience of at least 3 – 5 years in FMGC and experience in Trade/Export business;
• Must be willing to travel extensively and be prepared to stay out of Kenya for long periods of time;
• Should be fluent in French/Lingala.
