Finance & Administration Manager
An established multinational company, is a leading provider of key modern facilities in the construction and building industry in the world and is active in the areas of production, installation, maintenance and modernization. 

Their brand is well known and respected globally and is a well entrenched market leader in Kenya and the region.

The Company is looking for a results-driven finance professional, who is well -qualified and mature to effectively lead the finance function and work in close liaison with procurement, administration and IT roles, among others.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, Kenya, and based in Nairobi, the successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and fiscal management aspects of the company operations. 

He/she will also be expected to provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company. 

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Management accounting and Reporting
  • Inventory accounting and control
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparing periodic financial statements within set deadlines
  • Liquidity management, planning and forecasting
  • Assisting operations and other related functions within the business
  • Team leadership, staff development and coaching
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A relevant university degree and a full accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in finance at senior, team leadership level
  • Good exposure to the SAP, PASTEL system particularly the cost accounting module and a high proficiency in Windows and specifically Excel and Word packages
  • Overall good business acumen and commercial flair
  • Good understanding of Income Tax, VAT legislation, and  IFRS , IAS and GAAP
  • Good understanding of how supply chain affects the business
  • Able to work under pressure and consistently meet strict deadlines
  • Self Driven with a “can-do”, “will-do” type of personality
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to confidently communicate at senior management level
