IRC Medical Officers Job in Kakuma and Hagadera Refugee Camps

Vacancy: Medical Officers

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Kenya serves vulnerable populations in the Turkana and Garissa Counties as well as in Eastleigh, Nairobi. 

The IRC implements programs in the areas of comprehensive primary health care, nutrition, protection, peace building, water and sanitation and hygiene (WASH), HIV/AIDS prevention, response to gender based violence, disaster risk reduction (DRR), livelihoods and governance. 

Applications are invited for the positions of Medical officer on Locum and long term basis at the Kakuma and Hagadera refugee camps

Requirements:
 

1. Medical doctor registered with the Kenya Medical and Dentists Practitioners Board
 

2. At least two years experience in a busy hospital setting.
 

3. Fluency in Turkana/Somali language will be an added advantage.
