The Nairobi Regional Office seeks to fill the position of Regional Office Accountant.
 
The position is responsible for the day to day financial management of the Nairobi Regional office, utilizing the appropriate systems and following proper procedures to disburse, account, budget and report usage of funds. 

This position will also provide limited payroll, funds transfer and other accounting support for RTI projects and activities in the Africa Region. 

This position will also carry out daily accounting and finance functions including the timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, payroll, inventory, receivables, and payables.

Applicants will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with professional Accounting training or a Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant. 

An MBA is an added advantage. Minimum of six (6) years working experience in the accounting/finance field. 

At least two years of experience working for a USAID funded project is desirable. Managerial experience is an added advantage.
