Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM)

Overall Job Purpose:

The ISAM is responsible via outbound/Inbound calls for retaining business through mining and growing accounts, analyzing customer needs, identifying and customizing products and services to maintain and grow account relationship, while increasing sales pipeline. 

Works within a team environment and partners with the sales & sales support team to develop customer solution to achieve regional quota metrics.

Responsibilities

1. Meet or exceed sales quota for assigned territory
  • Transactional – Inbound Calls/emails, responding to quotes requests and taking orders
  • Pipeline Creation – Proactively generating sales & opportunities
2. Increase sales volume by increasing reseller solution, program and promotion knowledge
  • Engage & leverage Comstor Resources (RSM,BDM, Pre-sales Eng, Marketing) through quote to cash cycle
3. Capture detailed information about accounts and orders on the ERP
  • Accept & process orders, while ensuring customer information are captured and up-to-date on the ERP
4. Develop base-line knowledge of all competitors and their product offerings.
  • Attend and Pass agreed Vendor Certification
5. Work with pre-sales, finance, operations & logistics teams to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Produce Customer Quotes, drive finance/credit control & RSM engagement to resolve customer credit issues.
  • Ensure orders are processed and fulfilled timely and correctly, and product lead-times are communicated accurately.
Minimum Job Requirements

Required qualifications:
  • BSc/BA
Required previous job experience:
  • 2-3 Yrs Sales Experience in the ICT industry
  • 1-2 Sales Support/Customer Service Experience is an added advantage
Job specific skills and knowledge requirements:
  • Cisco Sales Expert
  • EMC Sales Certification
  • CCNA is an advantage
