Chemist (Sample Registration & Preparation) Job in Mombasa Kenya

An international organization operating testing laboratories in major towns in Kenya is looking for competent, dedicated and results oriented individuals to fill the following positions in one of their laboratories.

Chemist - Sample Registration & Preparation
 

Location: Mombasa

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc Degree or HND in Analytical/Industrial Chemistry.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a busy commercial testing laboratory.
• Practical experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in a busy sample receipt and testing laboratory.
• Demonstrate detailed understanding of sample preparation and isolation for various laboratory analytical techniques.
• Be familiar with local and international test methods for water, petroleum, mineral and agricultural food products.
• Good knowledge of ISO 17025
• Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) systems and quality control processes.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
