Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver
excellent customer service, at all times
- Assist
in keeping the front office reception area clean and tidy, at all times
- Deal
with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on
the telephone or via e-mail
- Administer
all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy
- Keep
up to date with current promotions and room pricing, to provide
information to guests, on request, while maximizing room sales’
opportunities
- Fulfill
all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction
and safety
- Provide
sales reports and other reports, as required, for housekeepers and
management on a daily basis
- Be
responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point
of contact for guests and the emergency services
Job

- Diploma
or a Certificate in front office operations from Kenya Utalii
College or equivalent
- 2-3
years experience in hospitality industry; specialty in handling front office
operations will be desirable

- At
the start of a bartending shift, it's important to make sure the bar is
clean, wiped down and well-stocked.
- Most
bars require bartenders to cut their own fruit used to garnish drinks.
- Take
stock of the inventory on a daily basis.
- Make
sure liquor, beer, wines and mixers are stocked
- The
bartender must keep track of each drink ordered and ring it in the
register or enter it in a computer
