Longhorn Publishers Internal Audit Intern Job in Kenya

Longhorn Kenya Limited is a leading book publisher with operations in the Eastern African region. 

The Company wishes to recruit an intern in the Internal Audit department.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment of enterprise-wide risk management framework to ensure implementation of recommendations and improvement in areas that are exposed.
• Assist in improving policies and procedures in conjunction with the departments concerned.
• Verify assets and liabilities to confirm their existence and means to safeguard them.
• Assist in maintenance of ISO 9001; 2008 Quality Management System.
• Identify control weaknesses in business operations and make recommendations to mitigate risk exposures.

Qualifying Criteria

• Degree in Business related area
• CPA II
• At least 1 year experience in audit or accounting
