Our client is an Environment Organization based in Nairobi and established to mobilize, manage, and avail resources for environment management.

Project Manager

Job Ref: WA/HCDS/HRA/01
 
This position reports to the Director Environment and is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. 

This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. 

In addition oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Masters degree in Project Management or related field
  • Qualification in Environment management will be an added advantage
  • Eight (8) years relevant experience gained coordinating high level projects
  • Experience in developing donor funded projects and proposals
  • Demonstrated experience in project management software, internet navigation and various MS office applications.

The Applicant should have expert leadership skills in keeping the team motivated, ability to resolve conflicts and make hard decisions regarding projects; Time Management Skills with employees, customers and management, often multitasking; Budgeting Skills, working within project budget; Analytical Skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day as well as analyze data and make decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
