Our client is an Environment Organization based in Nairobi and established to mobilize, manage, and avail resources for environment management.

Manager - Resource Mobilization

Job Ref: WA/HCDS/HRA/02
 

This position reports to the Director, Resource Mobilization and is responsible for providing technical support in partnership development and resource mobilization in order to advance the organizations strategic and program priorities in line with established policies and practices. 

Core duties will involve providing leadership in bidding and proposal development for submission to funding agencies, reviewing developing the resource mobilization strategy and annual plans.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social sciences, communications, business, marketing or other relevant discipline;
  • Diploma/course certificates in Project Management and Resource Mobilization will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of eight (8) years experience four (4) of which being practical experience ¡n Resource Mobilization, Fundraising, proposal development, and grants management
  • Computer application, including internet navigation and various MS office applications.

The Applicant should have proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas; strong analytical ability and problem solving capabilities; negotiating, communication and advocacy skills; leadership and supervisory skills; co-ordinates group activities, ensuring that roles within the team are clear; quickly builds rapport with individuals and groups; maintains an effective network across organizational departments; translates strategic direction into plans and objectives.
