Summary: Our client is a major international player in the technology sector and seeks to improve the quality and accountability of service delivery in the non-profit sector through the provision of affordable knowledge management tools, data, and training services.  

They are looking for an experienced individual to fill in the position of a Python / Django Programmer.

Duration: 12 to 18 months, with a possibility of extension.

Summary of responsibilities:

As a Python/Django specialist, you will work on building an online data warehouse including REST-based import and export functionality and strong data visualization capabilities. 

Reporting to the systems architect, you are likely to have several years' experience with a strong awareness of best practice development, including Agile methodologies; maintaining security, cross-platform/modern browser compliance, accessibility, scalability and performance standards. 

You believe strongly in software quality and ensure it by following agreed processes and standards, and using automated unit tests and similar tools. 

You conduct independent research to identify the best approach to solve new problems and document your findings. 

You produce well-written code with minimal supervision, but know when to ask for help with a difficult issue.

You are ambitious, focused and dedicated. 

You have excellent written English.
