Summary: K-Rep Fedha Services Ltd (KFS) is a for-profit company that provides management services and oversight to the financial service associations (FSAs) at a fee. 

Currently KFS is providing management services to 44 FSAs organised in five regions across the country. 

KFS has the overall responsibility of ensuring the financial statements produced at both KFS and FSAs  are accurate and reliable and also ensure compliance with both International Accounting Standards and Company’s Act in as far as the financial processes and systems are concerned. 

To meet this objective K-Rep Fedha Services Ltd (KFS) is seeking to hire a self driven and proactive Finance Officer.

Objective: The Finance Officer will maintain financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements and support FSA operations. 
Scope of Work: Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Officer is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll, personnel and office administration. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare both FSA and KFS annual budgets
  • Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that KFS Finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
  • Implement financial policies and procedures at KFS
  • Ensure maintenance of liabilities and receivable controls
  • Establish, maintain and reconcile general ledger and members personal ledgers
  • Prepare financial statements and report on variances
  • Prepare monthly management, quarterly  board and donor reports
  • Coordinate external annual audit
  • Maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems.
  • Maintain staff file including leave management, benefits computations and reporting.
  • Administer the monthly payroll including monthly deductions and contributions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in business related courses from a recognized University and a qualification in CPA or ACCA.
  • 4 years of experience in working in the Finance office.
  • Experience with preparing in preparation of financial reports, ratios, trends and interpretation of the financial reports.
  • Experience in using the Navision ERP system.
  • Proven ability to analyse financial reports.
  • Proven ability in understanding the international accounting standards, Company’s Act and any other statutory requirements.
  • Excellent team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self driven and able to work under pressure
  • Proactive and able to provide solutions
  • Strong analytical skills
