Salary Scale: Ksh.48,190 x 2,400 – 50,590 x 2,550 – 53,140 x 2,700 – 55,840 x 3,000 – 58,840 x 3,150 – 61,990 x 3,300 – 65,290 p.m.
 
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable
 
Shall head the housing department and be responsible to the Assistant Director, Lands.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Valuation of private land for purchase or related transactions;
  • Maintenance of valuation roll of the county;
  • Management of all landed property belonging to the county including leases;
  • Supervise and direct staff according to projects requirements and respective administrative issues in the housing department;
  • Preparing routine and upon- request reports on valuation and property management matters;
  • Performing all administrative duties related to valuation and property management.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics.
  • Have relevant experience and a distinguished career in valuation and land management for period not less than five years.
  • A relevant Master Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a registered member of institution of surveyors of Kenya.
  • Have integrity and demonstrated high degree of professional
