The Position: The East African Supply Chain Customer Service Coordinator is located in Nairobi, Kenya and will be responsible for managing order Order To Cash Processes using a variety of systems and analytical tools.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working independently, the post holder will follow a variety of defined procedures under general guidance within supply chain customer service areas, such as Customer Order Processing, Coordination with factories and 3PLs, Customers’ inquiries, claims & complaints, etc.
  • Promoting and ensuring customer satisfaction through value-added services and prompt identification and resolution of complaints and problems.
  • Handling of a variety of inquiries and developing solutions for moderately complex issues.
  • Working in consultation with the supervisor, tasks may include but not limited to:
  • Maintaining relationship with customers or specific accounts by understanding, anticipating, and identifying their product and service needs.
  • Handles complex customer inquiries/complaints
  • Identifying patterns of problems to improve customer service and customer satisfaction levels
  • Building credibility and trust with customers and business unit leaders through analysis, development of process improvements and strong service delivery is a critical component of the position.
  • Providing accurate handling of high volume customer transactions relating to order management, responding to customer inquiries in a timely professional manner.
  • Working with service providers to ensure best service to customers
  • Customer visits
  • Adherence to all export compliances, FCPA and boycott procedures.
What we are looking for:
 
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A University Degree preferably in Supply Chain management.
  • Minimum of three 3-5 years Supply chain customer service experience in Multi National Company working within “Customer Order To Cash function” in Supply Chain.
  • Proven record of handling East Africa Countries with a good knowledge of North Africa.
  • 3- 5 Years experience in a renowned ERP Solution on Order To Cash Module.
  • Good knowledge about Finance, marketing & Logistic functions with regards to their interaction with Customer Service.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Exceptional ability to manage workload and identify priority tasks to meet tight deadlines.
