Terms of Service: One year renewable contract
 

Remuneration: Kshs 129,527 – 155,894
 

The Meru County Government wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions as per the constitution of Kenya 2010.

Requirements for appointment

• Be a Kenyan Citizen.
• Should have a university degree in an area relevant to Marketing, Business administration, Finance, accounting, Management, Statistics or its equivalent from a recognised university.
• Be Computer literate
• One should have an experience of at least 3 years in the relevant field
• An applicant should be able to demonstrate high level of competence and should be able to work under minimal supervision.
• An applicant should have excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate understanding of the commitment to the National values and principle of Public Service Governance as espoused in the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Article 10 and 232.
• Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution.

Duties and responsibilities

• Coordination and monitoring of the revenue activities in the sub county
• Daily reporting on the revenue collection
• Mapping existing revenue sources and exploring the new sources
• Management of the revenue staff in the sub county
• Implementation of revenue policy guidelines at the sub county level.
• All other duties that will be found relevant for the performance of that office.
