The College of Insurance has the following lecturer positions and interested candidates are requested to apply.

• Life / Pensions Insurance Lecturers

• Non-life Insurance Lecturers

• Pensions Lecturers

Successful candidates will have the following responsibilities;

Description of Duties
·       Carrying out relevant research in relation to assigned teaching programmes and prepare quality educational materials
·       Continuously participate in research and development; with the aim of improving the college’s education and training services.
·       Ensuring prompt class attendance and delivery (lecturing) of relevant courses to students and issue handouts on topics taught.
·       Setting, moderating and assessing examinations
·       Participating in review, evaluation and design of curriculum.
·       Supervising students work/projects & related studies
·       Participating in development of the college timetable and implementing the curricula
·       Conducting Training in short courses as may be assigned and on need basis.
·       Providing regular-monthly management updates on the progress of the department’s research and development initiatives to Head of Department.
·       Providing regular-monthly management updates on the progress of course design and implementation.
·       Performing any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by management.
Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications
·       University degree from a recognised University. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
·       Professional training and qualification such as ACII, FCII, Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision from PMI or similar qualifications in life, general insurance branches or pensions.
·       A minimum of five years experience in working for the insurance sector, insurance related organisations or pensions.
·       Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
·       Strong communication and presentation skills.
·       High level of integrity and professional ethics.
In addition to the above qualifications selected candidates would be expected to study for higher qualifications.
