PTA Bank Portfolio Management Director Job in Bujumbura (Burundi)

Director, Portfolio Management

Job Summary:

Reporting to the President, the Director of Portfolio Management Department is responsible for managing the Bank's loan portfolio including loan disbursement and administration, project supervision, monitoring and implementation and loan portfolio restructuring.

The role further entails managing a team of professional staff responsible for the implementation of approved projects and programs, debt and arrears recovery, rescheduling and rehabilitation of problem loans.

Job Specifications:

·       Post graduate university degree in Banking, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.

·       A minimum of 10 years experience, at a senior management level in Commercial/ Development Banking, Finance or similar institution.

·       Project management skills including financial analysis, financial projections and interpretations, risk analysis and hedging techniques.

·       Proven leadership skills and an innovative approach to work with the ability to motivate staff in a demanding environment.

·       Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural setting.

·       Fluent in either English or French. Working knowledge of the other language shall be an added advantage.
