Quality Control Head Job in Kenya

A leading Manufacturer of Pharmaceutical Products based in Kenya seeks to recruit a dynamic individual with outstanding leadership qualities for the following position.

Head - Quality Control

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Be responsible for managing the day to day running of the QC Department and ensuring that the unit is run efficiently through optimum utilization of both human and material resources.
• Responsible for computing yearly estimates for material requirements.
• In charge of coordination and planning of all QC activities through effective prioritization.
• Ensure adherence to all set regulatory requirements such as cGMP & cGLP.
• Review and approve QC reports and documentation
• Supervision and development of QC staff to ensure performance is to the expected levels and acting as the primary technical resource for the staff in the department.

Requirements:

• Minimum BSC(Chemistry) from a recognized University,
• MSC (Chemistry) would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Be at least 30 years old.
• Hands on experience of all analytical instruments
• Must Have demonstrated knowledge of validations
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team to deliver key outputs on time and within budget.
• Must be a goal oriented individual who is highly organized with attention to detail.
