The Aga Khan University Hospital,
Nairobi (AKUH, N) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for
the following positions:
System Administrator
The System Administrator will provide Microsoft Windows/Cisco platform
management, configurations and design which will include Active Directory and Exchange
as well as Windows servers and Networks Attached Storage.
Applicants should posses a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent,
knowledge of Window Serve 2003/2008 and TCP/IP network with a minimum of five
years experience in a similar position. Window 2003 MCSE certificate and
Exchange 2007/2010 certification will be an added advantage.
Ultrasonographer
The Ultrasonographer will provide high quality ultrasound imaging services within
the laid down standard operating procedures and protocols.
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent and
certificate in Ultrasound Imaging from a recognized institution with a minimum
of two years experience in a similar position.
Laboratory Technologist
The Laboratory Technologist will provide high quality laboratory services,
including analyzing specimens and conducting tests.
Applicants should have a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a
recognized institution with a minimum of three years working experience and
must be registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technician
Board.
Candidates should be willing to work in any of the AKUH, N medical centers
countrywide.
Instrumentation and Control Technician
The Instrumentation and Control Technician will be responsible for the
operations and maintenance of BMS and power electronics devices to minimize
plant down time and improve uptime to optimize performance and plant
reliability
Applicants should have Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
(Electronics, Control System or Mechatronics) with a professional certificate
in BMS and PLC Systems and a minimum of two years experience
Applicants with Diploma in Electric Engineering or Mechatronics with a minimum
of five years experience in a similar position, should also apply.
Applicants for all the above positions should be computer literate with
excellent communication and customer service skills.
Painter
The Painter will carry out activities relating to painting and decorative work
involving painting, varnishing, polishing, sign writing and other related
functions.
Applicants should have a Painter Decorator Government Trade Test grade 1 with
five years experience in a similar position.
Mason
The Mason will carry out activities relating to building works involving water
proofing, plastering works, erecting new structures and associated foam works,
floor and wall tiling (ceramic, mable, PVC etc) and other related functions.
Applicant should have a Mason Government Trade Test grade 1 with five years
experience in a similar position.
