One of the biggest and respected airlines in Africa, is looking to fill a Sales Agent - passage office position.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the main responsibility for this role is to execute direct sales (offline/online) in order to optimise Turnover and Cost Margin within the scope of the Sales Business Plan.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya the key accountabilities for this position are:

1. Execute direct Sales in order to ensure that the necessary reservations and ticketing service targets are achieved.

2. Provide services to internal and external customers through interdepartmental support and carry out bookings, process (re)confirmations, providing fare information, seat selections among other services for our clients

3. Support the full spectrum of sales function that directly impacts on business performance

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications, skills and competencies:
  • Educational Background in Sales and Marketing
  • Experience in Sales, Airline Ticketing and Travel Agency Operations
  • Knowledge of Reservation and Ticketing Procedures
  • Reservation System Knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Fares And Ticketing
  • Strong Communication, Interpersonal and Influencing Skills
  • Strong Analytical, Sound Planning and Organizing Skills.
  • Good team player who is energetic, results-oriented and customer-focused
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
