Position summary:
The candidate would be required to achieve individual and departmental sales targets, increase the customer base through delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Advising potential client on various insurance policies 
  • Cash management: Ensure that premium payment cheques collected from the customers is accounted for and deposited the same day. 
  • Ensure customers have a full understanding of the products they are buying, by communicating effectively 
  • To follow up and resolve, to a satisfactory conclusion, any issues arising from sales or service queries 
  • Represent the company and professional image at all times. 
  • Maintain a flexible approach in order to accommodate changing needs and growth. 
  • Achieve sales targets, whilst maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree holder / a Sales and Marketing Diploma from a recognized institution 
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Insurance sales. 
  • Certificate of proficiency in Insurance (COP) preferred 
  • Knowledge on individual life policies, pension products and corporate sales will be of added advantage. 
  • Self motivated, highly organized and able to work with no supervision 
  • Computer proficiency. 
  • Proven sales experience an added advantage 
  • Previous related work experience
