FMCG -  Sales and Marketing Manager

Reporting To: General Manager
Supervises: All sales staff

1. Summary

The company is primarily focused on non perishable consumable goods. The manager will spearhead entry of the products into the market focusing initially on mid sized supermarkets.

2.Description Of Duties
  • Analyze the market and identify ideal strategy for obtaining and growing market share of the products in hand
  • Undertake new-product development upon carrying out market research and analysis of consumer needs
  • Manage distribution channels and monitoring of customers performance
  • Develop plans in relation to promotional activities and sales management
  • Undertake marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
  • Prepare budgets and develop promotional and sales support materials.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of the sales team and monitoring performance
  • Formulation and evaluation of sales targets,
  • Train and motivate personnel.
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
3.Professional Qualifications
  • A degree in a business oriented course
  • Five years working experience in FMCG, at least 2 years in a similar position.

  • Able to work independently within set parameters.
  • Good customer relationship and management skills
  • Strong  communication skills.
  • Good at planning and organising skills
