Nutritionist

A health clinic currently seeks to fill the above vacancy.

Key responsibilities

• Advising patients on nutrition matters
• Educating patients on how the body's functions are affected by nutrient supply
• studying how diet affects metabolism
• Examining and reporting on the process of nourishment and the association between diet, disease and health
• Providing health advice and promoting healthy eating
• Advising about special diets
• Educating health professionals and the public about nutrition
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team/supporting the work of the clinic.

Qualifications and training required

• A degree/diploma in nutritional science or dietetics.
