Associate Controller Job Vacancy for International NGO (Agricultural MicroFinance)

Our partner is an international NGO that lends to farmers in the developing world. 

Farmers are provided with education, finance, seed and fertilizer, and market access. 

So far the programme has resulted in a doubling of farm income. 

The organisation is growing rapidly.

An Associate Controller is required for the organisation’s Country Offices in Kenya, Rwanda, and Burundi. 

The role will initially pay £12,000 per annum, with health cover, immunizations, flights, room and board provided. 

Flexible start.

Role:

Financial analysis with non-profit accounting.  

The core focus will be to ensure accurate reporting of both financial and programme data with a focus on financial sustainability.  

You will be responsible for managing the whole accounting system and more than fifty bookkeepers. 

This role will report to the Finance Director.

Managing and Training Bookkeepers; Creating and Understanding Reports; Managing Internal Auditing; Closing the Books each month

Candidate:

• Previous leadership experience essential
• Fully-qualified accountant
