Job
Vacancy: GPS Fleet Supervisor
MA
Cargo Truckers & Forwarders based in Morogoro, Tanzania operates
a fleet of over 100 trucks that transport cargo to neighboring regions
including Kampala, Bujumbura, Kigali, Lubumbashi and Ndola.
The
company is looking to recruit a GPS Fleet Supervisor that will assume
the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring
all daily movement reports of entire fleet is prepared for
the management through GPS tracking ensuring position of all trucks
is verified and accurate.
- Noting
down all violations performed by the drivers and ensure necessary
action has been taken.
- Ensure
drivers stick to designated route plan issued with and deliver goods
carried to the customer on time.
- Prepare
monthly drivers performance reports and ensure fleet is
fully utilized.
- Update
management through daily meetings.
- Report
any tampering or malfunctioning of GPS unit to supplier and
or request technician for repair in the field.
- Any
other duties that may be assigned by the management.
Qualifications
The
successful candidates should have the following:
- A
minimum of a degree or diploma on IT/Logistics
- Experience
in GPS tracking and fleet management in transport company of atleast
3 years.
- Conversant
in computer applications.
- Hardworking
and willing to relocate and work in Morogoro, Tanzania.
