Our client, an international IT company specialized in development and implementation of projects for the financial sector is looking to fill the position of a Country Manager in Accra, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day operations in the office and make sure office operations are in line with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
  • Manage the P & L at the country level.
  • Manage the regular planning of tasks assignment and the staff performance.
  • Monitor all changes of the legislation and make sure the office practice is in full compliance with the legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the relationships with clients, partners and vendors in the region.
  • Make sure that the business performance is following the KPIs set.
  • Work with finance and administration departments to ensure that the cash flow and daily financial needs are met.
  • Represent the company in front of the local authorities.
  • Assist with the regional donor and funding programs including organizing the applications and preparation of all documents in this regard.
Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in economics or management.
  • MBA in strategic management or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Must have over 5 years previous management experience at a similar position.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
  • Excellent networking skills and focus on business development.
  • Effective client management and ability to find effective solutions to potential issues.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast pace environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel when needed.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to speak French will be an added advantage.
